In this modern era, we all own a smartphone, have the internet on our PC, watch television in DTH, and many more things have changed. But one thing which has not changed is the long crowdy lines to pay electricity and mobile phone bills. It annoys me greatly when my parents send me to pay those bills. For some time, I surfed the internet for a solution to evade that situation. I learned about an amazing site and app that is mastered in doing several works online. MobiKwik is a website and app that can be used to pay bills, recharge mobile, DTH, data card, and much more. Below, I have posted some information about it, which I think you should know. Have a look.

What Is MobiKwik? Information About It

MobiKwik wasany founded by Bipin Preet Singh and Upasana Taku in 2009. This company was formed to help online users of India with online payments. Moreover, a few years after launching, they have made their app and its usability more extensive. They are now trying to provide more and more services to users. So they have partnered with some big online merchants like eBay India, BookMyShow, Domino India, ShopClues, and Snapdeal to provide accessibility of their wallet as a payment option on various e-commerce sites. Moreover, they have launched a new feature by which you can send and receive money through their mobile app.

Features MobiKwik Offers

Mobile, DTH, Data Card Recharges –MobiKwik was launched to do only recharges; the rest of the features are added away. This is one of the fastest sites I have ever seen to recharge mobile, online data recharge, and data card recharges. You can restore your mobile for more than 15 service providers. It doesn’t matter if you have a postpaid or prepaid mobile; MobiKwik can fix it within a few clicks.

Electricity, Gas, LIC, Landline Bills Payment –I love MobiKwik because of this feature. It lets you pay your electricity, gas, landline, and life insurance premium payments right from your home. Currently, it supports ICICI Prudential, Birla Sun Life, and Tata AIG. They are dealing with a few more companies to add them.

Excellent Customer Support –The online world solely depends on how users deal with the services. It can lead to poor communication between the user and the service provider. MobiKwik offers 24×7 customer support and a ticket support system, too. They are good at fixing the individual problems of the customers. I have asked many friends who use this to give feedback about them. I got a very positive review from almost all my friends; some glitches can be found. Yet their customer support is excellent, and you can use it without any worries because you know their customer support is always with you.

Additional Ways To Use It –You can use MobiKwik in three ways: an online website, mobile app, and call or sms. I prefer the online website because it is easy to use and provides a great user interface and navigation. You will not get confused if you use their website. Secondly, their mobile app, which is available for all smartphones running on Android, Windows, and iOS platforms, can be downloaded from the mobile app store and is easy to use. Mobikwik ensures you recharge your mobile with just a call or SMS. You have to do this from that number that is registered with MobiKwik. Please ensure that you have sufficient money in your MobiKwik wallet.

Some Limitations About It

  • Users cannot recharge for a customized offer (specific to a single customer like RC91).
  • The user interface and navigation of the MobiKwik mobile app are straightforward and sober, which doesn’t attract more customers and users. Nowadays, people only buy smartphones, so MobiKwik needs to focus more on its app for its customers. The options available for Gas, Electricity, Data Card, and Life Insurance payments are very limited.

What I Think About MobiKwik

Although hundreds of websites and apps are available for recharge or these tasks online, MobiKwik is pretty unique. The On The Go option allows a user to recharge his phone by sending an SMS to a particular number with the recharge number and amount. It is not limited to SMS, but with the go option, you can call a specific number to recharge your phone. Sadly, it’s restricted to Mumbai and Delhi Circle. I can currently see the only downside of MobiKwik is that it has a minimal online payment service. But they are improving it more and more each day to expect a 100% better site and app in the upcoming months.
